Drooling In Style

So I’m kind of obsessed with Bandana Drooling Bibs.  There are so many out there.  I had the opportunity to review two awesome products.  The first is  Unisex Baby Bandana Bibs Variety 4-Pack with Snaps by #babybmore.  The second is Baffle Baby Bandana Drool Bibs with Snaps by #bafflebibs.  The third is #Zoozik Baby Bandana Drool Bibs.

I received all three sets of bibs at a discount in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.  I am not affiliated with any of the companies in anyway though I wouldn’t mind it. hehe.

Anyways,

Like I said I’m a fan of baby bandana bibs.  I’ve seen some made well and others not so much.  With this round of testing all three proved to be the later- awesome!

Baby B More   vs        Baffle           vs        Zoozik

In a side by side comparison- they are all winners. It truly depends on what style /design you are going for.  All are

  • Super cute and trendy (though I must be honest and say the fox bib is my absolute favorite)
  • Well designed with nickel free snaps (as opposed to velcro)
  • Nicely stitched (double to be exact)
  • Adjustable (two different sizes) so they work for different ages
  • Soft (front layer is made of cotton and the back layer is polyester fleece).
  • Absorbent (great for parents of drooling littles)

Baby B More and Baffle win in the gender neutral category (working for both boys and girls)

Baby B More bibs are listed on Amazon at $27.99 but they go on sale a lot at great discounts. Baffle bibs sell for $29.99 are currently are on sale.  These are one of my go-to baby gift items. Zoozik bibs run $24.95 but go on sale often. Right now that are selling for $18.

So there you have it…some super great products with a few dollars difference.  All are super cute, absorbent, well made and unisex.

Sarah’s going to school next year.

Real school….

with older kids.

In a few months my first born, my feisty, stubborn, kind little girl will begin a 17 year journey of learning and I’m kind of freaking out.

I want her to love school.  I want her to embrace it, live it, and breathe in every germ- riddled particle of it.

I also want her to be prepared.

That is why I love this cute little video called I Have Butterflies in my Tummy by #wheelsneeded.

“Charlie’s first day of school is coming up, and he doesn’t know what to expect. Through live action, animation, and original songs he learns that butterflies always fly away.”

It’s an original video created by two moms helps kiddos get over their fears of starting school.  It is short (10 min), sweet, and effective.

One of the creators is Rachel Raybin holds a BS in Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Educational Leadership and is known for her “Mommy and Me” curriculum.  As if that isn’t enough, she served as the founder and headmistress of a premiere private academy for young children for 17 years. She has many other accomplishments you can read about at  Training Wheels Needed Website.

“As parents, we are our children’s first teachers. Training Wheels Needed is a resource to help guide parents through your children’s early learning years.” Rachel Raybin

Here’s a quick preview of what the video is about.

I showed the video to my 2 and 4 year old.  It kept their attention the whole time.  The animation is no Disney but it is cute.  I love the songs presented in the video but most loved the way it teaches little ones to overcome fear and nervous feelings.

Version 2

After watching the video, I asked my daughter, Sarah how she liked it.  You can see her video review here.

If you would like to purchase the digital download, it’s only $5 and if you go through my link, it’ll save you $1.  Just enter onemadhatterblog in the coupon code.

Weekly Review:March 27-April 2

This week I’ve ha the opportunity to review two products.  Each I received free in exchange for an honest review.

12922040_10153929435121043_1262290407_oThe first product is the #liveinfinitely Infuser Water Bottle! I’ve never had one of these kinds of water bottles and L.O.V.E. it. My go to is cucumber and lemon wedges.  It tastes great and is cleansing.  And for someone like myself who sucks at drinking water, this helped a ton.  Additionally,  I appreciate the design. It has a FULL-LENGTH infuser rod to put your yummy fruits and veggies. Plus, it is designed to be handy and spill proof.  It has a push button to open the lid and a metal ring to ensure that it doesn’t accidentally get pushed and opened. Unfortunately, my kids loved the pop top too much and kept pushing the button while at the park.  It still works but needs a little finger lift from me but it’s all good. The bottle also is thick, durable and can be handled easily thanks to the no-slip grips. I’m super happy with this product and stoked I got it.

12953053_10153945078501043_950112678_oThe second product I got to review is from #Aposon HP9591-Silver pal Dial Watch. My initial feelings were that this #Aposon watch looked so stink’n cool.  It supports two different time zones and in different formats- first dial with two circle coaxial rotary scales, second dial show time by analog.  It also boasts a high abrasion resistant glass surface. I just had to review it for my husband. And perfect timing- Easter was right around the corner. I was so excited when it came and then quite disappointed. The dual clocks is so stink’n cool and such an attractive watch with the stainless steal. However, when my husband took it out of the package to wear and the clasp immediately broke. These are his words- “very heavy, cheap leather and easily breaks.” Luckily, I was able to fix it within a few seconds. Personally, I think the leather is fine, but since the watch itself is so stink’n heavy, it wouldn’t hurt to put a thicker and possibly more durable leather on it. The watch itself is a total statement piece and looks great on men with large arms and hands. I still think it looks rad and would make a good gift.
